Details are slowly emerging surrounding the arrival of Beyoncé and Jay Z’s twins — and it looks like Blue Ivy has already met her new siblings.

The five-year-old is the perfect big sister and reportedly “absolutely adores” the new additions to the Carter family.

“Blue Ivy is so excited to be a big sister that she can’t stop smiling!” an insider told Hollywood Life. “She’s upset the twins can’t come home yet.”

The source goes on to call Blue a “kind and very protective” big sister, which they credit to Bey and Jay’s hands-on parenting style.

“Bey and Jay really are amazing parents,” the insider added. “They’ve given their everything to Blue, but she’s not spoiled in the slightest. It’s a true credit to their parenting skills.”

Blue Ivy was said to be in the delivery room during the birth and had her own designer nurse outfit to wear.

“They’re worried their daughter might feel left out when the twins arrive, so they’re trying to make sure she feels very involved every step of the way,” a source told the Daily Star.

While the Beyhive is still waiting for a formal announcement from the famous parents, they wasted no time swarming Beyoncé’s dad after he spilled the beans on social media.

“They’re here,” Mathew Knowles wrote on Sunday, revealing the twins’ birth before Queen Bey — and prompting her fans to call him out on Twitter.

“The #Beyhive ain’t ever gonna forgive Mathew Knowles for cheating on Miss Tina and stressing Beyoncé out,” one fan wrote before another added, “That SNAKE Mathew Knowles was the one who leaked the news about Beyoncé giving birth to the twins.”

According to reports, Beyoncé gave birth to a baby boy and girl on June 12th at an LA hospital. The twins are still in the hospital due to “minor issues.”
