It’s still hard to believe that Blue Ivy’s days as an only child are over now that her parents, Beyoncé and JAY-Z, have welcomed a set of twins.
Queen Bey celebrated the one-month birthday of her newborns by sharing the first photo of the babies to her Instagram page.
“Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today,” she captioned the ethereal pic that paid homage to her pregnancy announcement, along with confirming the names of the twins. Watch the video below to see the stunning trio.
When were Beyoncé’s twins born?
The singer welcomed her twins prematurely on June 14, and they were released from the hospital two weeks later after being treated for jaundice. A source told E! News that Beyoncé “looked amazing and was glowing” while heading home with her new additions.
The 35-year-old welcomed a boy and a girl, though a source told In Touch that the family’s special day was plagued with “a lot of drama” — mostly because of Bey’s father, Mathew Knowles.
The Carters “didn’t want him there because they don’t trust him not to leak private information about the twins — or even worse, take photos,” the source said. And their fears were realized when he ended up confirming their delivery on social media, much to the dismay of fans.
