Olympian Bruce Jenner, 64, has had several surgeries on his face and it looks like it has really affected his appearance. Read an expert opinion below to find out what happened and why it’s creating a puckered jawline and creating more wrinkles on his neck.
Bruce went through a nose job as well as a partial face-lift back in the mid-1980′s. However, when the surgeries didn’t come out the way he wanted them, we found out that on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in May 2009, he had more surgery done to clear up the previous botched surgery.
Director Of Plastic Surgery at JUVA Skin, Laser and Plastic Surgery Center in NYC, Dr. David Cangello told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about Bruce’s surgeries:
“It appears as though Bruce’s prior surgeries left him with the skin under the posterior (closer to the ear) part of the jawline pulled rather tightly.
The goal of a face/neck lift procedure is to accentuate and redefine the jawline and this is accomplished by pulling and re-draping the skin along the jawline. However, if there is too much pull in one particular area, this can cause an unnatural look. He has a lot of excess skin under the anterior (closer to the chin) portion of the jawline, and that’s what is bunching up when he bends his head forward. The skin in the area around the mouth and chin often becomes quite stretched, wrinkled and redundant with aging and sun exposure.
It can be difficult to treat. Typically, with skin resurfacing techniques in the region around the mouth and chin and a properly performed face and neck lift, plastic surgeons are able to create a very natural appearing and rejuvenated neck and jawline.”Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
