Although Jennifer Lawrence was one of the first actresses to read the script for the movie Equals, the lead role ended up going to Kristen Stewart, who will star as the love interest of J-Law’s boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult. We now know exactly what the film’s director thinks about Kristen and Nicholas’ off-the-charts chemistry.
Kristen revealed in a recent interview with The Associated Press that she is both “terrified” and “excited” about her new role in the movie Equals, a romantic adaptation of George Orwell‘s classic novel 1984. And it’s no wonder — she described the daunting project as ”a love story of epic, epic, epic proportion.”
It’s a good thing the film’s director, Drake Doremus, thinks Kristen and Nicholas’ chemistry is just as epic!
“It became evident in my head that Nick and Kristen would have great chemistry,” Drake revealed to the AP.
Kristen is a big fan of Drake’s and says he “works in a really cool way.”
“I’m so excited,” Kristen told E! at the Sundance Film Festival. “I mean, Drake Doremus is one of my favorite directors right now. I would do anything with him. This is the first movie that he’s working off a script, usually he works off an outline. And I love that style. I love being able to find something naturally and have it live and really breath. So I can’t wait to be thrown into his world.”
And we can’t wait to see Kristen and Nicholas in action!
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Kristen was spotted at the Sundance Film Festival promoting her film Camp X-Ray, which is competing for best drama.
After Kristen’s film premiered on Jan. 17 at the star-studded festival, the actress was seen hanging out with a couple of girlfriends at Tao’s Sundance party. Our eyewitness said the brunette beauty was all smiles throughout the night. It certainly didn’t look like she was missing on-again, off-again love Robert Pattinson!Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
