The 21-year-old pop star, who hails from Grand Prairie, Texas, hit the stage at AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving day rocking gold gladiator sandals and a Marina Toybina fringe and leather outfit (fringe leather skirt paired with a mesh and leather bodysuit), singing a medley of her latest hits.
She kicked off her performance with “Walk Like A Champion,” shaking her hips around the stage with a group of dancers, before stripping down to red leather hot pants to croon her last song “Come & Get It.”
The Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders also joined in for the performance, dancing around the stage as Gomez sang.
“Happy Thanksgiving!,” she said, breathlessly, after finishing the show.
The singer’s performance marked the beginning of the Salvation Army’s 123rd annual Red Kettle Campaign, a holiday drive that provides toys, food and shelter for families in need.
“Proud to be performing for a great organization today during the @DallasCowboys game. Support @SalvationArmyUS,” Gomez tweeted earlier Thursday, along with a link to her video for the charitable campaign.
After it was announced that Gomez would be performing at the halftime show, the Getawaystar said, “I’m from Texas, so I’m a little nervous, I’m not going to lie. But I’m very honored and I hope that we come—me, my dancers and my band—and we give Texas a really good show and I make them proud.”
