In honor of Thanksgiving, we thought we’d keep things positive by sharing style moments that we’re particularly thankful for this year. Yes, they’re all celeb transformations from looks we’ve previously torn apart, but the fact that we’re now calling these stars a success story must help us in the karma department, right?
For starters, let’s talk about Christina Aguilera. We don’t know how she did it, but the “Say Something” singer made what must be one of the greatest style comebacks of all time. At left, is the blonde bombshell in her 2012 AMAs disaster of a dress and at right, is the very same person one year later rocking a gorgeous winter white Maria Lucia Hohan frock.
Yes, that’s Little Miss Sunshine star Abigail Breslin rocking a sexy cropped top and all black bottom. We were pleasantly surprised to see the former starlet step out in something hot but not trashy. The leather jacket covers the Ender’s Game actresses fair skin and the long skirt keeps the rest of the look demure. Take note, Miley.
We’ll be honest, we didn’t know Rita Ora had this level of sophistication in her. The “How We Do” singer is typically seen wearing see-through, skin-tight or totally insane things, so this dazzling Donna Karan look was a pleasant surprise. If only the couture taste lasted…
Remember that time Lady Gaga looked kind of normal? We know it’s hard to place the moment in your mind, given the fact that she just arrived to the AMAs on a horse made of people, but there was a day back in October when the Mother Monster wore a chic Alexander McQueen coat…with an insane hat, but still.
And finally, Nicole Scherzinger proved to the world that she can look sexy without wearing something that shows off every inch of her body. This Amanda Wakeley design still highlights her perfect frame but keeps things classy with the champagne color and thick silk fabric.
Hopefully 2014 will bring more of the same good style for these celebs, though we wouldn’t bet the last turkey leg on that happening… Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
