According to a report in the Telegraph, Kate Middleton‘s hairstylist James Pryce—the man that created her iconic ‘do for her wedding day—is no longer working with the Duchess of Cambridge.
The British publication reports that James parted with the Richard Ward salon seven months after accompanying Prince William‘s wife on the couple’s tour of North America in 2011. And now Pryce works part-time (“three days a week”) at Josh Wood Atelier in Holland Park. Meanwhile, Kate still gets her hair cut and colored at the Ward salon.
Adding to the drama, is the fact that Pryce’s depature was not on good terms, according to a source:
“When he went solo and tried to tour around the USA—he launched a Facebook page and Twitter account which featured hundres of pictures of Kate and her various hairstyles to promote his business—obviously that did not go down too well with the Palace at all.” (A rep for the Richard Ward salon had no comment.)
Now Kate mainly leaves her mane in the hands of stylist Amanda Cook Tucker, and for her 2014 Australian tour she has hired Princess Diana‘s former hairdresser Joh Bailey.
But let’s be real: Regardless of who is taming Kate’s tresses, they will surely look gorgeous.Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
