rs_600x600-131125154736-600-2jessica-alba-blonde.ls.112513_copyWe’re finally getting a better look at Jessica Alba‘s new blond ‘do, and we’ve got to admit we’re loving her lighter locks!

The actress, who underwent the color transformation from to play the role of Victoria Knox in the upcoming film Barely Lethal, first shared photos of her newly dyed hair from the set of her movie about a week ago, but the action shots were all a bit too blurry for us to truly appreciate the change.

Now, the 32-year-old has snapped a selfie flaunting her new look, which appears to have been dyed to make a switch back to brunette super-easy.

Not only did Alba refuse to lighten her bold brows, but she also kept the bottom half of her hair dark and opted for subtle roots.

We’re guessing that’s because she’ll want to go back to her natural color soon after wrapping filming, and because she wanted to minimize the often damaging effects that dying one’s hair can have on delicate strands.

Perhaps she heard about Jennifer Lawrence chopping her hair off because it was “fried from being dyed too much”?

Whatever the case, we’re love the edgy contrast between Alba’s light layers and her darker features for the time being, and hope she rocks the look on a red carpert soon!
