The tabloid, which has spent much of the year spreading totally fake reports about Joliehaving twins, now turns its attention to literary matters.
“She’s always wanted to do this and now, with her world at peace, she believes the time is right,” a so-called ‘close pal’ tells the magazine. “Angie’s had so much garbage written about her, this is the time she can set the record straight.”
It’s amusing to see the same outlet thatrecently accused Jolie of starving herselfsuddenly concerned with setting the record “straight.”
In any case, the random person OK! identifies as Jolie’s “pal” continues, “This will be the ultimate showbiz autobiography that publishers estimate to be worth $50 million. She’s going to reveal the people she partied with, all the players, scumbags and supposedly straight actresses she made out with. She wants to rattle the skeletons in her closet before starting the next phase in her life as Mrs. Pitt!”
This is categorically false and absurd.
First of all, no one on the planet can get a $50 million memoir advance.
OK! knows even less about book publishing than it does about celebrities.
It’s a number the “source” pulled out of nowhere.
Back in 2010, the National Enquirer made up a story about Jolie getting $20 million for her autobiography — which never happened, of course — and OK! apparently strives to be more than twice as ridiculous as America’s most notorious supermarket tab.
The book OK! describes will supposedly get into Jolie’s marriages to Jonny Lee Miller andBilly Bob Thornton, her rumored lesbian dalliances, and whether or not her romance withBrad Pitt directly ended his relationship with Jennifer Aniston.
It all sounds fascinating.
But it’s a work of fiction.
Jolie is not writing a tell-all — for $50 million or otherwise.
A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the OK! report is “nonsense.”Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
