Kate Moss has teamed up with Topshop once again to design a new collection for the British retailer.
Moss is already hard at work designing the 40-piece capsule collection, collaborating with Topshop creative director and Vogue contributing fashion editor Katy Phelan, as well as stylist Katy England.
The fashion icon’s first Topshop line hit shelves in 2007, when it immediately sold out on the first day, and she went on to create additional pieces for the brand up until 2010.
“I have really missed being involved in the design process, and working with the team at Topshop,” Moss said in a release. “I am very excited to create a new collection that bears my name. Now more than ever with London being at the forefront of fashion as it feels like I’m back home working with Topshop.”
Moss’ latest Topshop collection will launch in April 2014, but it is unclear whether the 39-year-old will star in the campaign, as she has in the past.
And speaking of the past, never-before-seen shots of Moss on the set of a 1994 shoot forVogue recently surfaced.
In Line magazine’s the behind-the-scenes snapshots of the Herb Ritts editorial, a fresh-faced Moss is all smiles as she strikes a pose in cutoff shorts and a visor alongside fellow model Bridget Hall on the shores of an exotic location. Another pic sees the svelte model raising her had in the air as she is dwarfed by the giant boombox she holds in her other hand.
“She was authentic and comfortable with herself,” said Line‘s beauty editor Francesca Tolot, who captured Moss at the shoot. “She did not have to impersonate, pose, or overdo anything. Modeling came very naturally for her. I knew the moment we began shooting that Kate had all the characteristics to become the icon she is today.”
