The actress, who graces the cover of the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar U.K., explained that Hillary Clinton was the ideal candidate.
“I think Hillary Clinton would make a wonderful president. I think we could only benefit from having someone in office who has been a mother; women have a different perspective and appreciation of humanity because of that maternal instinct.”
She added, “It can only be a step forward.”
The blond beauty also revealed the reasons behind being so active in Barack Obama’s reelection campaign saying, “It would be irresponsible not to. I come from a politically active family. To be an active member of the community, to be a responsible citizen and to engage politically have always been part of my awareness and part of my life.
“More than anything else, I believe that if everyone exercised the right to vote, the right choice would be made by the nation as a whole.”
And since she’s so well-read on the subject of politics, is there another career in the wings for the film star?
“That seems like a stretch,” she said. “But who knows? I don’t limit the possibilities. If I have more time, I may be able to lend a bigger voice to politics. I never close the door on those kinds of things.”

So when the 28-year-old isn’t busy being politically involved and making movies, she’s dreaming up what’s in store for her in the years to come.
“Eventually I want to have a family, and that would be my focus, but right now I’m having fun with it. There have been times in my career where I’ve struggled to find…I was stuck for a while,” she explained.
“It was more difficult, maybe, to find the right thing to do. Now I’m enjoying a really productive, creative period.”
