Lindsay Lohan Skips Canyons Venice Premiere, Director Calls Her Behavior “Unspeakable”

160846832-230x300Lindsay Lohan was a no-show at The Canyons premiere at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday night, but the movie’s director Paul Schrader says that’s nothing new for the star.

Schrader told reporters at a press conference that he feels like a “free man” now that promotion for the film is concluding.

He said, “For the last 16 months I’ve been hostage, by own choosing, to a very talented but unpredictable actress. She was supposed to be here today, she said she would be, but she is not.”

Schrader added, “She is a great actress… but her behavior is unspeakable.”

Lohan, meanwhile, wrote about the movie’s premiere on her blog Wednesday, saying, “I wish I could be there to celebrate with you in Venice. Paul Schrader, @braxtonpope, @JamesDeen could not have done it without you.”Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
