The troubled NBA player and husband of Khloe Kardashian was stopped after the California Highway Patrol noticed his Mercedes-Benz driving in an erratic, “serpentine manner” on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley shortly before 4 a.m.
Odom failed multiple field sobriety tests and “showed objective signs of intoxication,” according to the CHP report.
He was taken into custody and booked for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Odom reportedly refused to take a chemical test while in jail, an action that automatically triggers a one-year suspension of his driver’s license under California state law.
He was ultimately released on $15,000 bail at approximately 8:30 a.m.
The arrest comes amid widespread speculation that Odom has descended into serious drug use.Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
