But since Victoria Beckham had to be in two places at once, why not utilize the rich-and-famous conveniences she has at her disposal?
In order to squeeze in the photo shoot that accompanied her Vogue Australia cover story in the mag’s September issue, in which she described her family as “much more normal than people think,” the resourceful mother of four commissioned a helicopter to take her from the London shoot to her sonBrooklyn‘s school for parent-teacher night.
“The shoot almost didn’t happen, but in the end her people decided she could make the trip by chopper directly from the shoot if need be,” Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Edwina McCann
The posh choice worked out for everyone involved: Not only was it a speedy mode of transport and less likely to clog up traffic lanes outside the school, but the magazine also got the pics it needed to nail this ever-important September issue.
“Victoria was the perfect choice for us because she has totally reinvented herself,” McCann said. “She has gone from someone who was not taken very seriously in terms of fashion to garnering an incredible amount of respect and credibility as a designer.”
“She is very particular,” the editor added. “Victoria was across every look we chose. She had an opinion on every outfit and she knew what she did and did not want to wear. She is much more collaborative than many celebrities. Like Cate Blanchett she is very fashion literate.”
But apparently there’s a time and place for everything.
