So much so, the Los Angeles Police Department was needed. The fandemonium went down at the Grove’s Pacific Theatres on Saturday morning.
According to The Los Angeles Times, fans obtained passes to the screening via gofobo.com and started lining up outside the theater as early as 3:45 a.m., but when there were still empty seats come show time, fans started rushing the theater doors attempting to enter the auditorium.
One mother said, “They charged and went straight past the ticket takers for the doors of the actual theater screaming, ‘Let us in! Let us in!’ It took about a half an hour before a police car came with two policemen in it. They started palming kids down and shoving them outside.”
Sounds like the band’s fans are way more excited for the movie than expected.
One Direction: This Is Us lands in theaters August 30, but hopefully with a little less chaos.Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
