The 20-year-old singer looked like a million bucks during a trip to Trader Joe’s in Toluca Lake on July 12 with mom Tish in a money-print crop top and miniskirt.
The daring ensemble featured a mix of one, five and hundred dollar bills that definitely gave Cyrus her money’s worth if her aim was to turn a few heads in the grocery store aisles! She finished off her cash-rich look with a luxe Chanel backpack and glittering gold necklaces, bangles and a statement watch.
While most of us our run our errands in a casual outfit like Tish, who wore a simple gray tee, skinny jeans and flip flops, we can’t say we’re surprised Cyrus pumped up the sex appeal for a little daytime shopping.
After all, the singer has been steadily distancing herself from her wholesome Hannah Montana persona for quite some time now. She’s pretty much made a habit of flaunting her toned abs in an ever growing collection of crop tops and tiny short-shorts—which she consistently pairs with sky-high heels for attention-grabbing leggy looks.
And, of course, she’s shown a growing fondness for showing off her backside, taking the time to twerk at events and in videos like “We Can’t Stop” and a clip in which she show off her booty popping skills in a unicorn onesie (yes, you read that right).
According to the former Disney star’s manager Larry Rudolph, Miley’s transition from a teen to an adult star—with a more mature and risqué sense of style—is completely her doing.
“Miley is doing it now organically,” he told The Hollywood Reporter about the Cyrus’ evolving image. “There’s no such thing as ‘OK, let’s figure out the plan for growing up.’ It doesn’t work. The public sees through it in two seconds, and every artist who’s tried to do it has failed.”
And perhaps it’s her authenticity that has helped her remain relevant long after she hung up her Hannah Montana wig. “What you see now, this is her,” Rudolph went on to add. “Some artists have it, some don’t have it, in terms of the ability to make that transition. Most don’t, but you can’t plan for it. If you get to that point, you hope it happens. If it does, it does. If it doesn’t, then it wasn’t in the cards.”Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
