Joined by mom Katie Holmes and another child on a hot New York City day, the 7-year-old mini-fashionista demanded that the omnipresent shutterbugs get out of their way. It was a professional autograph hunter—not a pap—that called Suri “a brat” (not cool!), but it was clearly the photographers who irked the little girl in the first place.
Suri, of course, isn’t the first celebrity kid to take issue with those who are all too eager to snap her picture. Sandra Bullock told Parade that her 3-year-old son, Louis, hates the paparazzi.
Halle Berry testified last month in support of California’s anti-paparazzi bill, which would limit the ability of photographers to take pictures of celebs’ children. “My daughter [Nahla] doesn’t want to go to school because she knows ‘the men’ are watching for her,” she said. “They jump out of the bushes and from behind cars and who knows where else, besieging these children just to get a photo.”
The Academy Award winner, who is pregnant with her second child, a baby boy, said if the bill were to pass, “the quality of my life and my children’s lives will be dramatically changed.”
But until this bill passes and the laws surrounding photographing children are stricter, celeb children—from Honey Boo Boo to Violet Affleck—are going to have to keep dealing with the paps in the best way they can: By showing those shutterbugs some sass!Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
