On Thursday, the model tweeted a racy photo showing her licking boyfriend Slater Trout‘s impressive abs. (To be fair, Slater, 18, is a professional stand-up paddle surfer, so keeping up an eight-pack is pretty-much part of the job.)
And while Ireland’s selfie with Slater’s bod might border on oversharing, she’s not worried. “It’s a modern-day public diary of your thoughts,” she told Vanity Fair. “You have to be careful, but at the same time it’s kind of fun not to be too careful.”
Her famous father hasn’t always been toocareful with his 140-character messages to the world, which recently got him into some trouble. After a Daily Mail journalist wrongly accused Alec’s pregnant wife, Hilaria Baldwin, of tweeting during actor James Gandolfinis funeral, the 30 Rock star fired back with a series of gay slurs. As the backlash began to mount, he apologized, then quickly deactivated his account. This wasn’t the first time Alec’s been a Twitter quitter, but he says it’s the last one.
“I said to myself, ‘This is all a waste of time,'” he told Vanity Fair. “Meaning it’s fun sometimes, but less and less, and less. It’s just another chink in your armor for people to come and kill you. I stopped and said to myself, I’m going to try where I just don’t do this anymore.”
But Ireland isn’t just going to blindly follow in the footsteps of her dad or mom, Kim Basinger. “For any kid raised under the circumstances I was raised—having a famous family—people often think you have everything laid out for you and you don’t need to work,” she said. “But everyone has to work for what they want, and everybody has to make a name forthemselves.“Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
