The troubled actress, who is embarking on a self-described “long and wonderful career as a singer/rapper,” has been trading tweets with Waka over the past couple of days, at one point writing, “@WakaFlockaBSM I dreamt about you last night… we were hanging out as best friends ”
Bynes and Waka also retweeted each other, offering mutual support.
On Friday, he revealed to TMZ that he and Bynes are partnering on her debut album for his Brick Squad Monopoly label, although no final deal has been signed.
The project is expected to be called “Shots.”
Waka tells the site that he and Bynes text every day about music and her struggles with “haters.”
