The mother of six made her first red-carpet appearance post-surgery at the premiere of fiancé Brad Pitt‘s new movie World War ZSunday in London, where she opened up to reporters about her recovery.
“I feel great, I feel wonderful, and I’m very, very grateful for all the support,” she said. “It’s meant a lot to me.”
The 37-year-old Oscar winner added that she was elated to see how her odyssey has spurred an engaged conversation about women’s health issues.
“I’ve been very happy just to see the discussion about women’s health expanded, and that means the world to me,” she explained. “And after losing my mom to these issues, I am very grateful for it. And I’ve been very moved by the support of people.”
