Prince Harry Tours New Jersey Shore Areas Damaged by Superstorm Sandy

Joined by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, the royal visited two areas greatly affected by last fall’s Superstorm Sandy.

First up was Mantoloking, where Harry was led down to Barnegat Lane to survey destroyed homes and greet residents.

 

Harry also met with firefighters and other first responders before greeting a young woman in a wheelchair and posing for a picture with her.

It was then on to Seaside Heights to check out the rebuilding efforts of the popular boardwalk and play a few games at the booths.

Harry’s next stop on his U.S. tour will be Manhattan later today for an event to support the the British government’s GREAT campaign as well as a baseball training session with a dozen youngsters benefiting from the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.Follow @Infocelebrity on Twitter!
